Healing Properties: Sapphire is ascribed to have a number of healing properties for overall wellbeing, especially related to skincare. It is said to prevent rashes, eczema, and heavy sweating. It also lightens and adds shine to the face. Other sources also attribute to it the power to heal poisonous snake and scorpion bites, as well as heal diarrhea, swelling and pain throughout the body.

Sapphire is also described to help maintain healthy eyes and vision. 

It is said to have the power to kill respiratory diseases like anthrax, or any other respiratory symptoms developed due to poor air quality.
